The beginnings of Libametal d.o.o. date back to 1963, when the founder of the company, Miro Pirc, took a job at Litostroj, which was at that time the leading company in the foundry industry. Later, Miro led the entrepreneurial vein to an independent path, and in 1976 he opened a company in Trzin and began casting non-ferrous metals into the sand.

The orders were soon becoming larger and more demanding, so in 1983 the company moved production to new and larger premises. With time and growth, the premises have begin failing to meet our high standards, and since 2019 we have been operating in new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in the Komenda industrial zone.

Today, employees have a wealth of technological know-how and experience gained through a 43-year presence in the foundry market, so they can offer their customers complete solutions for casting in one place and high quality of castings. Doing business beyond Slovenia's borders requires constant transformation and adaptation of quality requirements to global standards.
